New Lectureships

Three new Named Lectureships announced at the 2018 AAAAI/WAO Joint Congress.

Dennis K. Ledford, MD FAAAAI and University of South Florida Allergy & Immunology Division Lectureship

Dr. Ledford has said that he, “chose a career in medicine because I wanted to make a lifetime commitment to a profession that could improve people’s lives,” which succinctly embodies the mission of AAAAI Foundation, and we are proud to establish this lectureship in honor of his significant achievements as an academician, researcher and practitioner.

Phillip E. Korenblat, MD FAAAAI Lectureship: Investing Together in Our Future

 

Over the course of his distinguished career, Dr. Korenblat has been a caring physician, a physician educator and mentor to younger physicians and the AAAAI Foundation is proud to offer this new lectureship in his name. Dr. Korenblat's Lectureship was established in 2017. The first Lecture in his name will be delivered at the 2018 AAAAI/WAO Joint Congress in Orlando.

Gary S. Rachelefsky, MD FAAAAI Lectureship: Investing Together in Our Future

The AAAAI Foundation is pleased to announce the Gary S. Rachelefsky Lectureship, which will foster research in the specialty that has been a lifelong passion for Dr. Rachelefsky. Dr. Rachelefsky's Lectureship was established in 2017. The first Lecture in his name will be delivered at the 2018 AAAAI/WAO Joint Congress in Orlando.

Sheldon L. Spector, MD FAAAAI Memorial Lectureship

Dr. Spector deeply touched the lives of his patients, staff and colleagues and his lectureship is being established to honor his memory and the significant advancements he championed in the field of Asthma, Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Dr. Spector's Lectureship was established in 2017. The first Lecture in his name will be delivered at the 2018 AAAAI/WAO Joint Congress in Orlando.
