Faculty Development Award

Grant Program

This mentored award provides $240,000 in funding over a three-year period and is intended to support the development of careers in Allergy and Immunology. Multiple awards will be made to further the development of junior faculty into independent investigators by funding excellent research that leads to the prevention and cure of asthma and allergic and immunologic diseases.

Our goal is to grant four Faculty Development Awards in 2020 with funds raised through the 2019 Grow Allergy and Immunology Now - GAIN - Campaign. Your support in 2019 will lead to more research in 2020. Please consider making a gift today!

Award candidates are selected at the discretion of the committee with the approval of the AAAAI Foundation Council and the AAAAI Board of Directors. On occasion, if too few applications are submitted, the AAAAI Foundation will issue a new call for applications with an extended deadline. In rare circumstances, an award may not be presented if an insufficient number of quality applications are received.
